August Smaller Geeky Events (2025)

2nd-3rd: Rocky Mountain Con's Christmas in August Toy Show
Cap for Kids had their table on the left had side as you walked in. This really cool Bucky print was earmarked for the first person who made a $100 donation or they will be saving it for their New Years Eve Fundraiser.

They had a few other smaller giveaways for people who donate smaller amounts.

Rocky Mountain Con had their table on the right had side of where you walked in.

This time I didn't have time to do any shopping myself after taking pictures and videos. I did see some Labubu products, but not sure if they were real or were Lafufus since I didn't get to take a close look at them. There were a lot of plushies, Star Wars, and Star Trek products. I also noticed some older tin toys as well. To get in its $10, free parking, and you can find gifts for the toy loving geek in your life.

2nd: Monkey Paw Toys 1st Sidewalk Sale
I was amazed at how much good stuff they had out their. They had signs up to help people to understand what the different colored stickers meant. Comics were 50c-$1 with items topping out around $10. Most non-comic book items fell in the $2-5 range.
They had a ton of back issues under the tables to dig through. They were organized and finding things was easy. Comics ranged from a few years old to relatively recent.
At the bottom of this picture, right next to the door was a free box that had really cool things in it. I found everything from Star Wars Episode one toys to old McDonald's toys to Lego mystery figure bags.
