September Smaller Geeky Events (2024)

All C's Collector's Showcase Fall 2024
9/6-8/24. Attended on 9/6.

For this Showcase they had two sections of the main fair grounds building. All C's had taken over one side that held their booth and the items for the charity auction.
The above Eevee tapestry was really cute and I think it was a part of the auction.
This was All C's booth. The back section is where their dollar section was. Then they also had a middle sale section.
Above was the Aurora Rise table. They were one of the sponsors of the event.
Another view of the show floor. One booth even had a max price of $10 for anything in their booth.

There were some amusing items at the show. One booth had 3D printed goods I hadn't seen before like a Deadpool duck, a zombie bat and bearded dragon, and they also said that on Saturday they would have some Wolverine ducks. Another booth had ring holders that were made out of barbie doll legs and/or arms sticking out of things like coffins and trashcans... weird, but oddly interesting. I overheard one dealer say that he was surprised at how few people were there. It did seem a little thin, but I'm used to Fridays being thin for events because most people work Monday through Friday. There are also a lot of things going on this weekend (like 3 major gem, mineral, and fossil shows).
Above was my haul for the day. The 3 graphic novels came from All C's $1 section (they also had a good selection of video games that were hard to walk away from). The vampire Squishmallows was $10 which for me was worth it to add it to my vampire collection. The 3D printed bat was $6 and I was told it glows in the dark (it came from the same booth I mentioned above that had the zombie bat). The Pikachu items I got for Mommy Geek to help her celebrate her last radiation treatment today.
