Blood Hunt 1 (Free Comic Book Day 2024)

This comic was a combination of the new Blood Hunt series and The Uncanny X-Men Sampler.

Spider Man gets lucky when the guy he is fighting gets sick, but then he starts puking out all of this darkness. It then jumps to a confused Daredevil and we get hords of vampires attacking people from everywhere. What caught my attention about this series was Dracula appearing and trying to recurite Blade's daughter to save the world. I'm not a fan of the art work, but I will be checking out more of this series. I'll try to get the first volume next month to review.

For The Uncanny X-Men part, we have Jubilee watching the X-Men campus which has been taken over by some group that are holding mutants captive. She also can't manage to stay out of trouble when she runs into some bullies, but sometimes people have to help people get the justice they deserve. The art work for this section was much better then the Blood Hunt section. At the same time I just didn't feel pulled into the story, so I won't be actively trying to get more of this story.

As to the adds for other comics within it, the only one that stood out was the Predator VS. Wolverine. This is an interesting concept and the cover art for it looks decent.
