Princess Peach at Kung Fu Tea

 

I really enjoy it when restaurants do movie and the like tie ins. Right now Kung Fu Tea is doing one that focuses Princess Peach because of the video game release for Princess Peach: Showtime. Princess Peach is from the Mario world and it's great that they are giving the female character a chance to shine. Also with us moving towards the summer, peach is a great flavor to highlight.

Not only do they have themed drinks, but if you buy two drinks from the lineup you get a free mini tote bag and two straw toppers. The drinks run in the normal price range for Kung Fu Tea, so this is a great value.

Below is the review of the 2 drinks we tried.

The Leading Lady

Description: "This sweet and creamy peach slush is a delicious take on the classic peaches and cream."

This was a slush style drink. The flavor was a little weak, but not too bad.

Peach Premiere Green Tea

Description: "A classic peach green tea that will have you ready to walk the red carpet in no time!"

I actually liked this one the best of the two. The flavor was clearly there and the lychee pearls were a nice surprise since you couldn't see them in the drink. I always find it funny how they put the bobas on the tops of the drinks for the pictures, but in real life that's not where they go.

Also as an additional side note I really don't like how Kung Fu Tea does the pricing of their drinks. Like for these drinks the drink didn't have a flat price. Every part of the drink is charged separately, like being up charged for the boba when that is how the drink is pictured. They really need to change how they do things.
