Colorado Festival of Horror 2024: A Different Perspective

While covering cons I sometimes get to take someone with me and I like to rope them in on the work. For Colorado Festival of Horror this year I roped in a friend from my day job who also does photography. I gave him one task: try and get as many candid photos as he could. I love candid photos because they show the heart of the subjects so well. Below is a collection of his photos from that day and I will try to limit my commentary....mostly....so that you can just take in the photos.

This tall one tried to scare me as Karl walked by and Karl had to point it out that the scarecrow had tried, and my only response is "I don't scare that easily." 

If you look at the back on the right you can see part of me. Watching them stage these photos was really funny.

It makes you wonder what devious thoughts are running through his head.

Some one pointed out after the interview that we both had wings, so why not have a photo opt.

Anything to get that perfect shot.

Even the hotel staff got in on the fun by giving this zombie a name tag.
