9/24/23 Halloween Squishmallows Release
Got to love it when the Halloween Squishmallows come out at Five Below. Luckily we got there early enough before the resellers had cleared everything out.
9/23/23 Aurora Mini-Con
This year the event looked bigger. Like there were booths outside and a few games.
Some of the booths outside on the lawn had some really good deals. Like this game with all the pieces was only $10.
They had a silent auction.
Then there were signs to lead you inside where they had more going on.
This was a little display they had of games.
In the main activity room they hand more venders and artists.
This was set up in what is normally a little reading nook by the main entrance.
R2 was there dancing around.
They had more things in the basement.
They had some cool Lego displays.
Free coloring sheets that they even let adults take.
This area they had set up as the entrance to the gaming area.
Their quiet rooms were set up with games in them.
This was an obstacle course they had set up to try and get kids physically active.
9/7/23 Colorado Gem and Mineral Fall Show
I stumbled upon this gem and mineral show when I went back to the hotel that had hosted Crypticon to see if anyone had turned in my computer charger. It was super big with all of the space inside and outside the hotel full.
There were some cool things to look at, but most of those pieces were way outside the normal person's price range.
