The She Creature (1956)

This is one of those classic black and white B movies. In this movie an evil occultist uses hypnotism on a woman to resurrect an ancient monster. The monster is the classic body suit that has lobster/crab like features. At the same time, it still had enough female qualities (boobs) that you can tell the gender it was supposed. Also, the early special effects in this movie I have to give credit to. From how they made the monster appear and disappear to how they used the cloud effect for the moving soul. 

I would have felt more drawn into this movie if there was some more mystery to it. Throughout the whole thing you knew who the bad guy was and how he was doing it. You knew it was just a matter of time when he could no longer control the woman and that he would be a victim of the monster. For an older movie I will give it 4 out of 5 stars or a B because it had the good special effects for its time, but they could have done more for the storyline.
