Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
I will admit that I'm not a huge Ghostbuster fan. I mostly blame Mommy Geek because of how many times I have had to watch the films with her. When the latest movie came out I was more than happy to send her off by herself to watch it and to write a review. So here is Mommy Geek making her debut in review writing.

If you liked the first 2 movies, then you will like this one. It will not make sense if you have not seen the other movies. The movie has a good storyline because it was multilayered with the relationships between the characters driving it forward. It also had excellent family lessons for all ages.
The movie does have slow spots, but it is worth seeing all the way through. The film had sections that were really conversation heavy. These could have been condensed to get to the same point. Even with this the actors did a really good job and the kids stood out the most.
The graphics were good. The CGI was a 8 out of a 10. They could have done a lot more with the CGI. The one thing I didn't like is that they just reused a bad guy instead of coming up with something new.
Overall, I would
give this movie 8 out of a 10 or on the Geeked Colorado scale 4 out of 5 stars
or a B.
