1/2/22: "Sword Art Online Is Set in 2022, and the New Year Is Freaking Fans Out" - For me I've had a hard time really getting into this anime when compared to others. Also we seem years away still from having the technology be as advanced as what is in the show. 1/6/22: "Cowboy Bebop: Nearly 100K Fans Have Signed a Petition Pleading for Season 2" - For me personally I do not have a strong attachment to the characters in this series like other anime fans. With that being said, I think that people need to separate the live action from both the anime and the manga. It should just be considered inspired by what came before. People also have to remember that even with the vast improvements with CGI you are still taking something that is 2D and changing it to 3D. This will never work perfectly. There are people on both sides of the fence and I say let it live on for the people who enjoyed it. Like for me I was a huge fan of the live action and then tried to go back to the anime and manga and hated them. People can like something's adaptation in one medium vs. another.
