Geeked Holiday Shopping Guide 2021
With the holiday season upon us and Black Friday just a few days away, I thought I would create a shopping guide to help. This year most stores will be closed returning shopping to Black Friday bright and early with many stores opening at 5am. The one thing I am sad about this year is how Walmart has spread out their sales throughout November and with their Friday sales it blocks people that have to work from getting the good in person deals. I will keep updating this page as I find things.
If you are just wanting to see everyone's general holiday adds there are a few great places to look:
https://blackfriday.com/ and https://www.theblackfriday.com/
Both of these sites start putting up the adds as soon as they come out so you would want to start checking them in early November.
Before we hit the stores section I want to talk about trends. First off I have seen a return of the Tamagotchi. These have been popping up in several stores ranging from Walgreens (which I do not recommend shopping at) to Urban Outfitters. At Urban Outfitters they were about $25. You can even find themed ones: https://thegadgetflow.com/portfolio/star-wars-r2d2-tamagotchi-comes-with-interactive-experiences-19skills/ .
ROSS
Ross also gets the gold Geek star this year for having the most and oddest geeky gifts. I was impressed by their selection,
Star Wars
Oddly enough there seems to be an increase of home good, especially kitchen, for geeky products. Most of these pictures will be either home goods or other products. They did also have geeky toys as well, but I just didn't take the time to take pictures. One of the popular toys they seemed to have a lot of was Pokemon.
Super HeroWALMART
Star Wars
Multiple Fandoms in one photo:
Target

Ornaments: Target does get in some good geeky ornaments each year.
Not only do they have them hanging up, but they also carry Hallmark's mystery ornaments.
Gamer Goods
World Market
Hello Kitty and Friends
Claire's
Because fluffy is always a good gift and brands like ty are still very collectible. |
The below pics were of cool items, but I do not list their stores for several reasons like Walgreens that are just over priced and give horrible service. They are just products to keep your eye out for if you know someone who may like them.
Big Lots

Also if you do online shopping here is the link to Disney's Black Friday deals. Yes Disney is geeky, but only because they have bought up all the geeky franchises they can get their hands on. https://www.shopdisney.com/sale-content/
