Vampirella #1 FCBD (2021)

 

So like most Vampirella comics the cover focuses on sex appeal. I will admit that this is actually one of the better covers for both art and 3D effect. The story on the other hand was lacking. Most of the FCBD comics are more of samplers, but they are supposed to draw people in and make them want to read more. This comic has so little info that there really is no point in reading it except to look at the art work. What do we get out of this? There is a plane crash, someone is trying to get a message to Vampirella, and she is stuck with a psychologist that doesn’t believe in supernatural (alien) creatures. The only cool thing about this comic is when you see her wings. 2 stars out of 5 or a D. I really can’t blame the artist or author for such a low score, but whoever the person was that decided what would be in this sample.
