The Mortal Instruments: The Graphic Novel (2017)

 

This comic I actually picked up on a Free Comic Book Day a few years back. I love the Mortal Instruments franchise. I do have my favorites between the movie and the TV show of who does a better version of each of the characters. Cassandra Clare has also produced so many books around this concept that I have given up reading all of them, but would still recommend. This comic/graphic novel on the other hand I would not recommend. The story in this short follows the main storyline, but the art work is horrible. The drawing is to loose and feels incomplete. I feel like this could have been cool with a different artist. Even the color on the front feels sloppy. 1 star out of 5 or a D due to the art work.
