Lake Placid: Legacy (2018)

 

I really liked the original Lake Placid movie and I’m always cautious when another one comes out. This movie is just good enough to pass the test, but does not come anywhere near the original. It had its moments like the interior scenes and they managed to get some character development in there. I understand that in horror and monster movies characters have to die, but they kill most of the characters. It seemed a bit much. 3 stars out of 5 or a C. It was missing a lot of the humor that had helped to make the first one so great. I saw it once and might be willing to watch it again if there wasn’t anything else on T.V. to watch.
