Track of the Moon Beast (1976)

In this one a professor gets hit by a tiny meteor during a meteor shower and this slowly causes him to turn into a monster. The interesting part of this movie is that this has happened before and the Native Americans have it in their legends including the way how to destroy the creature. They did a good job with character development and you actually feel sorry for the main character since he also just started a romantic relationship. Classic B movie but actually kind of good. Even though this only came out 1 year before Star Wars I feel that the special effects were much rougher then I would have expected for this timeframe. 3 stars out of 5 or C.
