Manticore (2005)
For all of you Star Trek Voyager fans out there this movie
has Chakotay, aka Robert Beltran, in it. He’s one actor that you don’t see as
much as you should since he does deep characters very well. Even with a good
actor this movie is just not that savable. Everything about this movie makes it
a B movie. The one thing that I did really like was the special effects on the
manticore. I know that there are many people out there that are not fans of
special effects because they tend to look fake. I actually don’t have this
problem because I still just love the art that special effects can be. I give
this movie 3 stars out of 5 or a C. I give it this high of a score just because
the writers were able to build some feelings in the audience for the characters
which doesn’t happen that often in lower quality scifi movies.
