Atomic Shark (2016)

 

What happens when a shark becomes radioactive? This movie explores that. Of course the shark has to stay wet so that it doesn’t go thermonuclear. During most of this movie you just want to see the boss lifeguard get ate because of how mean he is. One of the best moments of this movie for me was when I realized that the pervert was David Faustino. His most famous role was when he did Married…with Children, but he has done other things like being the voice of Mako in The Legend of Korra. Recognizing him just made me laugh. The best special effects I felt were in the restaurant when all chaos breaks lose. No spoilers, but you’ll understand what I mean when you see it. I also found the kid with the crush on the lifeguard funny. Over all I can only give it 3 stars out of 5 because there was nothing that really made it stand out against other shark movies. The special effects, besides the previously mentioned, just were not that good. Of the shark only the mushroom cloud shark at the end was well done.
