Chivalry of a Failed Knight (2015- )

 

This was an anime I caught a few episodes of (1-4) during Comcast’s Watchathon. In this anime the worst student in the school beats the best and the best becomes the ‘servant’ of the worst. Instead of pushing this they become roommates. The ‘worst’ is a male student named Ikki Kurogane and the best is a female student named Stella Vermillion. Of course you have to have mixed gendered roommates to make for some crazy plots. I was also happy to see that they even had a trans character in the mix (Nagi ‘Alice’ Arisuin). From the first 4 episodes I would say that the series has some potential. At the same time, when compared to other anime series I had a chance to watch during the same time (like Food Wars) it did not draw me in like some of them did and it was easy for me to stop with just the 4 episodes. 3 stars out of 5 or a C. I would be willing to watch more of this series to give it another chance.
