Army of Frankensteins (2013)
Alternative
history, time travel, horror. This movie is a mix of it all at the B level. The
negative thing that stood out the most to me was that even though the actors
tried to convey emotion, the movie itself just felt flat. Some of the special
effects were better than others. The time vortex was not so good, but the arm
cannon was not so bad. I thought that the weird multiplication of the first
monster was just not well done. It would have been better if there was just
several monsters in the lab. The one thing I really liked was the cat monster
after the pet cat was given the monster juice. It was the best part of this
movie and yet it had so little screen time. 2 stars out of 5 or a D. I gave it
a 2 instead of a 1 because I feel like the movie had a chance to be better if
it would have just been carried out differently. The overall plot of the movie had
the potential to be good, but the end product was just lack luster. It’s an ok
movie to see once if there is nothing better on T.V.
