Sound of Horror (1966)
This
movie is just another reminder that treasure hunting can be dangerous. This
movie was focused on the suspense built by not being able to see the monster
until they figure out a way to get a material on it that would let them see its
shape. The special effects for the time were actually very good. If you want to
see a movie where they do a lot with very little then this would be a good one
to check out. I would actually recommend that this film be included in any
horror class or film school as a model of how horror can be built with very
little actually shown. 4 stars out of 5. The only reason why I didn’t give it a
perfect score is because some parts of the movie really dragged.
