The Life of Budori Gusuko (2012)

This was one of the free anime movies during the Watchathon. What attracted me to this movie was one of the voice actors in it, Shun Oguri. My first experience with his acting was in the live action version of Hana Yori Dango (the series is way better than the manga). He has proven himself as both an in person actor and voice actor. Even with having one of my favorite Japanese actors in it, the movie was a big disappointment. Overall it was very depressing and very anticlimactic. It was just one bad thing after another happening to the main character (who happened to be a cat) and many of the situations were never resolved. It was horrible storytelling, but at the same time seemed very Japanese. 1 star out of 5 or an F.
