Crawl (2019)

I understand that people not thinking clearly or going for the most obvious fix to something is what makes for movie plots. At the same time though they could have so easily gotten out of the basement before it even started flooding. There was thin brick work that was open to outside and they had tools and a shovel. They could have just broke their way out of the side. This is one movie where I just kept screaming at the characters in my head on what they should do. I know that movie writers need to come up with plots, but most humans are not as stupid as what the writers made their characters in this movie. There were some good scares with the alligators, but it could not make up for a bad script. It has been a while since I have seen Barry Pepper in a movie and I wish that his character would have been developed more. 2 stars out of 5 or a D.
