A Quiet Place (2018)

Going into this movie I already knew the story line. I’m not a person to care about spoilers and I did some research when this movie first came out. I never got around to seeing it then, but being trapped in the house due to the COVID-19 lock down and free previews on T.V. gave me the chance to finally see it. It had some parts that can make you jump, but for the most part you can see everything coming. Some of the people’s responses to situations seemed a little odd to me. One of them is why would a woman get pregnant when any noise makes monsters/aliens come and everyone knows babies cry. Not to mention the very act of childbirth is not a quiet event. I guess people’s lack of survival thinking makes for movie plot. The movie ended with a lack of closure. 3 stars out of 5 or a C.
