2nd & Charles
6606 S. Parker Rd. 80016

One of the best places to find books since Boarders or Media Play (yes I know I just dated myself…). They have a large selection of manga (both new and used), anime, and other geeky non-Japanese products. If you are looking at books here I do recommend that you look at every copy of the book you want to buy. The longer a product is on the shelf they do get cheaper. I have looked at the same book and found 5 different prices (condition also plays into the prices). They will also sometimes just get in really random products and you never know what you will find. Note: not all products are used, and their new prices can sometimes be very high. Also a great thing they do is they have free baskets outside the store where they put items they don’t think they can sell. I have found everything from college text books to broken game systems that can be used for spare parts or other art projects.
Their manga section is a really good size.

All C’s Collectibles
1250 S Abilene St. 80012

I have been going to this shop for at least 20 years (since they used to be beside of the Village Inn). They are a medium sized store and carry lots of products. They may look small on the outside, but they have managed to cram a lot of product in there, mostly due to how they shelve things. They carry things like action figures, comics, sports related items, and gaming cards. I like their current location because they also have a game room, but you have to go outside to get to it.

Cobalt Comics & Collectibles
5494 S Parker Rd 80015

This store does not have as much packed into it as All C’s and the diversity of items offered is also less. They have tables set up that could be used for gaming. Both new and used comics can be found here. There are also $1-2 comics for someone wanting to try out a new series or just looking for something they haven’t read before. They do also sell figures, but the prices on these seemed a little high. Don’t forget to look around closely here or you may miss things like their geeky sticker basket by the register.

Crit Castle Games
414 S. Chambers Rd. 80017

This is a smallish store that specializes in different types of games. I say smallish because it is a very open store with little product. They could pack in a whole bunch more, and do not seem to use their space well. They also have a play area. They do let you sell your used games, but when your items sell you only get 80% and it is only for in store credit (selling your games on Amazon/eBay may be a better value).

Town Center At Aurora, AKA Aurora Mall
14200 E. Alameda Ave. 80012

•Oriental Gifts
They are starting to carry more anime related products and Japanese snacks. The snacks you can still get cheaper at the local Asian markets, but if you are shopping in the mall it is a great place to stop.

•Box Lunch (AKA Whole Pay Check)
This is a great place to find geeky products of all kinds, but they will cost you an arm and a leg. The clearance section isn’t much better. It is very easy to rake up a large bill here, but the stuff is so cool.
