Land of the Dead # 4 (2005)

This comic was done very well. If you read my review of Monstress you would know that I don’t like that comic because of how muddy the coloring was. This comic on the other hand shows how to do ‘dark’ correctly without the coloring getting muddy. Both the line art and coloring was spot on. This is what I expect of a formally published comic. Even with me only having this one from the set I was able to understand the plot and even was fine with one of the characters just walking off into the night after being bit. This comic gets 5 stars out of 5 or an A.

This comic was even printed on paper that already had something on it (was also off white) and it helped to give the color more life then if they had just printed it on a white background. 

This comic I actually found as part of a 3 pack at Spirit Halloween. It had a clearance tag on it and was the last one. I thought that 3 comics for $1 was a great find even if they sucked. You never know where you will find comics or other geeky products, so always keep your eyes open.
