Baby Yoda?

The most adorable thing in the Star Wars universe since the porgs. Disney has made some major mistakes with this. The key one is where is all the baby yoda merchandise? It is the Christmas shopping season and it can not be found. I have seen a few sites talk about some coming out next year, but that is too late for the holiday shopping season. Someone made a big mistake and Disney should be scrambling right to get at least something out before Christmas. Mass produce even a small cheap toy and it will fly off the shelfs right now. I have already seen many people making their own on both Pinterest and the internet in general. Both Walmart and Disney has preorder options, but you will not receive any baby yoda products until after the holidays. Disney has been making a lot of mistakes lately and this one is going to cost them money. (Do not even get me started on Mulan…..).

Then there are the theories about where baby Yoda came from. I do support that the baby could be Yoda and Yaddle’s child. First we do not know the gestation period for the species. We do know that they age differently than humans as seen in their extended life span. We also don’t know which of the sexes can have the baby. Even though we consider Yoda male and Yaddle female, this would not be the first time when movie makers has switched things up. Back in the day there was Alien Nation, where it was the males that actually gave birth. If this was the case this could fit into the time line. After order 66 no one knows what happened to Yaddle. There have been rumors in the Star Wars universe that she lived. She may have even out lived Yoda.

Also the Star Wars universe has been reshaped many times. Like what happened to Jacen and Jaina Solo? The Mandalorian could also be a whole new spin on the universe and then who knows where it will go. We’lll just have to wait to see.
