Go Gaming! The Ultimate Guide to the World's Greates Mobile Games

This book was a find in the free book basket at the 2nd and Charles in Broomfield. I picked up this book to point me in the direction of new phone games I have not played, and it did. There were several popular games it did not talk much about like Candy Crush and there were also so games entirely missing like Bubble Witch. I liked how the games were broken into types and it had great pictures that gave you an idea of what the games looked like. It’s not all inclusive and I’m not sure on how they picked some of the games, but I did get what I wanted to out of it.

I do not spend money on any phone game or or in app purchases because I believe in being Geek on the Cheap. Here are some of my favorite games that were either missing or not covered enough:

This is the original Candy Crush. I liked it until the newer versions came out. I got bored with it. I will go back to it every now and then when I have used up my lives in the other versions.

This version of Candy Crush I really like but unless you want to dump money into it, it is hard to get bonuses to help you on levels.

In this version you can get daily bonuses to help you for a limited time. Once you get to a point of logging in each day you also get half an hour of unlimited lives.

I like the second version of Bubble Witch better than the first one. The version I have on my phone actually gives me the option to log into either version, but I only play version 2 now.

Zen Koi: This is a very peaceful game that has you swimming around eating certain numbers of things to help you level up. Once you level up you can get to a point where you can evolve your koi into a dragon. You can also breed your koi to try and get rarer forms. I keep this game on my phone for situations where I have a lot of time to kill and I have used up the lives on all my other games. This game can get boring, but I really want to get all the different dragons because they are so beautiful.
